My main focus is working with people who have experienced shock and developmental trauma and the subsequent need to reclaim or recover self regulation, co-regulation and self concept whether that be as an individual, couple or as part of a family system.
I take a holistic approach, aim to facilitate a balance between physical, mental, spiritual goals to stabilize, reorient and approach thriving. All human systems naturally move toward restoration and supporting this balance optimizes recovery. I have three areas of focus - growing (optimizing potential, identifying strengths), managing (skill building, psychoeducation), and healing (processing and integrating traumas).
My training includes Trauma Release Exercises (TRE), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Other education/experience/interests include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Yoga and Meditation, and Spirituality.
